Believe it or not, there are plenty of people out there that don’t care for me, or what I have to say. And, like it or not, the same is true of you also.

But I’ll venture that neither of us chalks the animosity toward us up to some vast right- or left-wing conspiracy.

It’s for this reason that the president’s conspiracy theories about the so-called “deep state” are so off-base.

Yes, the sitting president is suffering through the lowest approval ratings in recent history when compared with other sitting presidents in March of their first year in office.  But, these low ratings have nothing to do with a deep state conspiracy; on the contrary, they have everything to do with the president’s style and substance.

For the president to—yet again—plant the seeds of fear, loathing, and distrust in the American people simply because a majority of people neither like nor trust him is not normal.

If you want to be more likable and respectable, act in a more likable and respectable fashion.  It’s not rocket science.
