What a week.
Donald Trump’s legislative agenda has proven to be all bluster, but no substance. After 100 days in office, Dear Leader has accomplished nothing but sign a series of largely symbolic executive orders designed to throw shade on President Obama’s legacy.
Likewise, Trump has proven himself to be an abject failure in public office. Anyone who is surprised by this either doesn’t really care about the health of republic, or they weren’t paying attention during the campaign of 2016 (which, I guess, means they doesn’t really care about the health of republic).
This week alone, Trump has been dogged by criticism for holding yet another campaign rally even though he won the election four moths ago, for walking out on an interview with CBS’s John Dickerson, for nepotism toward his equally unqualified (and unelected daughter), for inviting Rodrigo Duterte to the White House, for simultaneously threatening war with and then praising Kim Jong Un, and for suggesting the government “needs a good shutdown“.
None of this criticism was unwarranted. Donald Trump is proving everyone who thought—no, knew—he was a fraud correct.
