It’s Thursday, the 18th of May, 2017, and signs are pointing to the conclusion that the President of the United States obstructed an FBI investigation into Michael Flynn’s ties to Russian intelligence for his own political gain.
Just imagine, for a second, how congressional Republicans would have reacted to this news if Barack Obama — or if Hillary Clinton — was president.
My advice to members of the United States Congress, regardless of their political affiliation: Do what’s right for the country, and not what appears for the moment to be politically expedient.
With each passing day, the United States grows weaker, more vulnerable, and slips further into disrepute.
This is not normal. And it must stop.
