Good morning
Emin just called and asked me to contact you with something very interesting.
The Crown prosecutor of Russia met with his father Aras this morning and in their meeting offered to provide the Trump campaign with some official documents and information that would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father.
This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump – helped along by Aras and Emin.
What do you think is the best way to handle this information and would you be able to speak to Emin about it directly?
I can also send this info to your father via Rhona, but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to send to you first.
Best

Thanks Rob I appreciate that. I am on the road at the moment but perhaps I just speak to Emin first. Seems we have some time and if it’s what you say I love it especially later in the summer. Could we do a call first thing next week when I am back?
Best,
Don

On July 24, 2016, Paul Manafort told George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “This Week” that there are no ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Lie.

During a campaign rally in Florida in October 2016, Donald Trump said, “I have nothing to do with Russia, folks. OK?”

Lie.

On November 11, 2016, Hope Hicks, then-spokesperson for Trump’s campaign, told The Associated Press there was no contact between the Trump campaign and Russian representatives.

Lie.

On December 18, 2016, Kellyanne Conway was asked by CBS’ John Dickerson if there was contact with “Russians trying to meddle with the election. Her answer: “Absolutely not.”

Lie.

On January 15, 2017, Chris Wallace asked Mike Pence “if there any contact in any way between Trump or his associates and the Kremlin or contacts they had?” Pence answered, “…of course not. Why would there be any contacts between the campaign? Chris, the — this is all a distraction, and it’s all part of a narrative to delegitimize the election and to question the legitimacy of this presidency. The American people see right through it.”

Lie.

On May 11, 2017, Donald Trump told NBC’s Lester Holt “there is no collusion between me and my campaign and the Russians.”

Lie.

And, on the day before Donald Trump Jr.’s email were reported by the New York Times, White House deputy press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said at an off-camera briefing, “I would certainly say Don Jr. did not collude with anybody to influence the election.”

Yet another bald-faced lie.

I could go on. (If you want a full accounting of the lies from Trump and his team about the Russian hacking of November’s election, check out CNN’s thorough report.)
