The media has written much about Donald Trump’s dictation of a misleading letter aimed at protecting his son from the investigation onto meddling by the Russian government in last November’s election.
After an initial denial from Trump’s lawyers, the White House press office confirmed Trump’s involvement, adding “the president weighed in as any father would, based on the limited information that he had.”
Let’s stop beating about the bush and call this exactly what it was:
The President of the United States led a coverup aimed at misleading investigators about the nature of his campaign’s dealings with the Russian government.
This is not normal.
