At a time of grave international instability, and in response to the erratic behavior of an easily provoked foreign dictator, our own Dear Leader said this in response to North Korea’s recent posturing regarding its nuclear program:
“North Korea best not make any more threats to the United States. They will be met with fire and fury like the world has never seen. [Kim] has been very threatening beyond a normal state and as I said they will be met with fire and fury and frankly power the likes of which this world has never seen before.”
If this is what diplomacy in Trump’s White House look’s like, we’re in a for a bumpy—not to mention scary and dangerous—ride.
It’s Wednesday, the 9th of August, 2017.
The world is a more dangerous place today.
