Donald Trump temporarily took the high ground yesterday with his muted, but ultimately insincere, remarks about last weekend’s violence in Charlottesville.

However, yesterday, Trump was back to being his old and instinctive—that is to say, bigoted—self yesterday.

Trump said that the violence in Charlottesville was also the fault of the “alt-left”; he accused them of “swinging clubs”, and “charging at, as you say, at the alt-right.” He called the so-called alt-left “very, very violent.”

Here’s the thing: There’s no such thing as the “alt-left”.

There’s just plain old, and now fed-up, tolerant Americans.

Donald Trump continues to show his true, racially intolerant colors.

He is unfit to be president.
