Dare to dream?

Approximately 800,000 young people who were brought to the United States by their parents without any say in the matter are now being threatened with deportation to countries they never knew.

These young people have gone to school in the United States.

They pay taxes in the United States.

They embody the American Dream, and the nation’s entrepreneurial sprit.

And they have served, and some have lost their lives, in the United States’ armed forces.

Threatening young people with deportation by terminating the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program is not normal.

It is also cruel.

It’s Wednesday, the 6th of September, 2017.
