Last Saturday, Donald Trump tweeted:

It wasn’t long before Trump’s stooges, like upstanding citizen and Trump groupie Jacob Wohl, started to chime in with their agreement.

Okay, so here’s the thing: Donald Trump, with access to the world’s most sophisticated intelligence gathering services, was lying.

In fact, Iran’s purported missile launch was faked by an actual fake news service. Donald Trump should have known better, and people like Jacob Wohl—and thousands of other consumers of fake news and political propaganda—were duped by a seven-month-old video of a failed launch from nine months ago, not to mention a dishonest “president”.

Will any of this matter to those eager to buy into Trump’s dangerous and divisive foreign policy?

Probably not.

It’s hump-day; Wednesday, September 27, 2017. It’s not a normal day.
